Into the Light: The Film Resistance

April 15, 2016 - May 8, 2016

The Vienna Experiment

This is the result of a two month arts residency in Vienna in 2015. The Vienna Experiment is an ongoing process of Madi Piller’ film work experimentation.

The images in this film were produced as result of camera-less work, optical printing, direct paint on film and all then digitally re-mastered.  The presentation in the form of a performance gives an alternative dimension to the work and the creative freedom to reprocess the imagery as it is projected.  Collaborator artist Stefan Voglsinger will bring the sound substance to the work while Stefanie Zingl contributes to the optical light creations, along with Madi Piller.
